Shipping policy

General Shipping Information: Orders including a free screen protector or camera protector may require a small shipping charge. All other orders that do not include a free screen protector or camera protector come with free standard shipping, usually utilizing USPS Ground Advantage. Same-day dispatch for items ordered Monday through Friday by 2 PM ET (holidays excluded). Orders typically deliver within 2–5 business days. If you place an order after 2 PM ET on a Friday, it may not ship until the following Monday. Our fulfillment center in Indiana automatically processes orders once they are placed. Scooch cannot guarantee shipping times once packages are handed to the carrier and does not refund shipping costs unless there was an error on our end.

International Shipping: As of late 2025, we no longer ship internationally directly from Scooch.com. You can still get Scooch products on Amazon. Search for “Scooch” on your local Amazon marketplace to see availability in your region. Please note, we do not control Amazon’s shipping coverage, but most major countries we previously served on our site are now supported through Amazon fulfillment.

Shipping to APO / FPO / DPO Addresses: We ship to military addresses using USPS Mail Innovations. Please allow 14–21 business days for delivery. Delivery times may vary based on location and customs processing.

Shipping Protection for Past Orders

Note: Shipping Protection is no longer offered on new Scooch.com orders. If your past order included Shipping Protection, the policy below applies to that order.

Scooch Shipping Protection was previously offered as an optional add-on that covered eligible orders against loss, damage, or theft during shipping.

At Scooch, we care about our customers and may, at our discretion, assist with shipping issues on a case-by-case basis as a courtesy, even for orders without Shipping Protection. However, if your order included Shipping Protection, your claim will be reviewed under this policy and you will receive dedicated support for resolution. Orders without Shipping Protection are not entitled to a replacement or credit for shipping-related issues, though we may choose to help at our sole discretion.

Shipping Protection is not insurance. It was a voluntary service provided directly by Scooch to offer additional support in the event of a shipping issue. Scooch is not an insurance company and does not issue insurance policies.


What's Covered

If your order included Shipping Protection and meets the criteria below, Scooch will issue a one-time replacement order or store credit at our discretion.

  • Lost packages: Your order has not been delivered and no tracking update has been recorded for 7 or more business days after the estimated delivery date.
  • Stolen packages: Your order shows as delivered but was stolen from your delivery location. Claims must be filed within 15 days of the delivery date shown in tracking.
  • Damaged items: Your order arrived with visible damage caused during shipping. You must provide photo evidence of the damage to both the product and packaging within 15 days of delivery.

What's Not Covered

Shipping Protection does not apply in the following situations:

  • Orders that did not include Shipping Protection.
  • Packages shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
  • Packages refused or returned to sender by the customer.
  • Delivery delays (late arrivals are not considered lost).
  • Items with cosmetic wear, manufacturer defects, or damage that occurred after delivery.
  • Orders where a chargeback or payment dispute has been filed.
  • Claims filed outside the applicable time window (see below).
  • Packages marked as delivered to the correct address with carrier GPS confirmation, unless additional evidence of theft is provided.
  • International shipments held, seized, or delayed by customs.

How to File a Claim

To file a Shipping Protection claim, email support@scooch.com with the following information:

  1. Your order number.
  2. A description of the issue (lost, stolen, or damaged).
  3. For damaged items: clear photos showing the damage to the product and the shipping packaging it arrived in.
  4. For stolen packages: confirmation that you have checked with household members, neighbors, and your local carrier facility.

Claim Deadlines

All claims must be filed within the time windows below. Claims submitted after these deadlines will not be eligible.

  • Lost packages: No sooner than 7 business days and no later than 30 days after the last tracking update.
  • Stolen packages: Within 15 days of the delivery date shown in tracking.
  • Damaged packages: Within 15 days of the delivery date shown in tracking.

How Claims Are Resolved

If your claim is approved, Scooch will, at our sole discretion:

  • Ship a one-time replacement order for the same item(s) to the same address, or
  • Issue store credit for the value of the original order (excluding the Shipping Protection fee).

Replacement orders and store credit do not include any original Shipping Protection fee. Replacement orders are limited to one per original order. Cash refunds are not available through Shipping Protection.


Claim Review and Denial

Scooch reserves the right to review, investigate, and deny any claim that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with the evidence provided. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Multiple claims from the same customer or shipping address within a short time period.
  • Claims where the provided evidence is insufficient, inconsistent, or appears altered.
  • Patterns of repeated claims that suggest misuse of the Shipping Protection service.

Scooch may request additional documentation or information before approving a claim. Failure to provide requested documentation within 7 days will result in the claim being closed.


General Terms

  • For orders that included Shipping Protection, the Shipping Protection fee is non-refundable once your order has been fulfilled.
  • Shipping Protection covers only the items in the order to which it was added. It does not extend to future orders or other transactions.
  • Scooch may modify this policy at any time. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to your order.
  • Shipping Protection was a voluntary service offered by Scooch and is not a contract of insurance. If your order included Shipping Protection, you acknowledge that Scooch is the sole provider of this service and that all claims are subject to review and approval by Scooch.
  • This policy does not limit or replace any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
